Description

Ronald W. Tadur aka Dusty. Always liked Dusty, preferred him in special missions but he grew on me a little in sunbow, very interesting character and I really dig desert themed figures because there aren't that many of them. This one here is the single carded re-issue of Spy Troops Dusty. The singled carded Re-issues were: Dusty, Tele viper, Kamakura, stalker, slash, slice, beachhead, Sand Viper and Frostbite.
but they were stripped of their accessories that made them great. Stalker and sand viper its no problem, they are stellar on their own but the others the accessories made them great. Take Tele Viper for example, strip him of his head set, radio pack, and communications gear and you lose the appeal of the character. Same for Dusty, he's missing his signature hat and his bandolier.
Now This is a good figure even without those things but would be nice to have them. He has a great sculpt, nice smooth joints, great paint apps and really nice detail. The way the body and arm wraps are designed you might could use him as a base for arctic themed figures if you wanted too.
If you want a complete one look for the on that comes with Zartan. Me I honestly could care less since this one is just a stand in until I can find the 25th anniversary one for a decent price. But I am going to get more spy troops and valor vs venom figures because I missed a few when I was a kid and want to get all that I missed out on. Really want bombstrike and a few of those ninja vipers that use the storm shadow mold from GI Joe Vs Cobra that I like so much but turned it into an O-ring instead of CORPS style tooling which made it ten times better.
